About Luminous Era

Luminous Era was founded by Nonkululeko Williams, inspired by a simple but powerful realization: the skincare industry has long overlooked melanin-rich skin. What began four years ago as a small business project—creating a basic face mask—quickly revealed a much larger gap. Skincare products, especially sun protection, were not speaking to us, made for us, or designed with our lived experiences in mind. Luminous Era was created to change that.
